The cocktails were amazing. Would definitely return to try others. Everyone loved their dinner entries as well. So those two things were great but to top it off our server was amazing. An all around great experience. Thanks we will definitely return again!
Super tasty and very friendly staff. Our waiter was incredibly nice and made me want to come back just for the hospitality. Beautiful interior and the food is good. I got the turkey sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese and it was amazing. The raspberry mustard was awesome and the bread was toasted perfectly. Definitely will come back.
I had the pleasure of finally checking out this place and boy was I blown away! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The atmosphere alone, was incredible. It is cozy and dark. Feels like an intimate small town pub. Perfect for a date night or girls night out! The service was timely and attentive and not overbearing. And the food...holy cow! It was everything I hoped for! Simple menu with fresh ingredients, you can't go wrong! Lastly, their drink menu is delightful as well, with a nice variety of whiskey. Make sure to get yourself an old fashioned, it's worth it.
Really great dinner spot in downtown Glen Ellyn! The cauliflower tots and arancini apps were both delicious. For dinner I had the short rib grilled cheese with a side of gumbo. It was the perfect winter comfort food pairing. Don’t sleep on this place.
Didn't have a reservation but well worth the wai to be seated. Food was outstanding! Shrimp and grits app was delicious. We ate our full meals. Drinks were exceptionalà Service was on point and everyone was very attentive.
It makes sense this place is nearly 5 stars. Great food, fantastic atmosphere and cocktails, and friendly service. We sat early (6ish) on a Monday and it was getting PACKED just after we got there. Salads were big and tasty. Had the buffalo cauliflower too. Parking isn't the best, but worth checking out for sure. We'll be back.

We had a fantastic experience at Maize + Mash in Glen Ellyn! We started with the Wild Fields cocktail, which was incredibly flavorful and a great way to kick off the meal. For entrees, we had the Maize + Mash Burger with truffle fries—cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We also tried the braised short rib grilled cheese with a side salad, which was a solid choice and full of flavor. Our waitress, Maize, was very nice and attentive, even while the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere was chill, calm, and made for a really enjoyable dining experience. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!
